I've just finished reading the Cherub series which is upsetting :( it was awesome but ive just realised that Muchamore wrote another series. It's a trilogy and im desperate to read it. Cherub was good as it was fun and had a bit of everything in it. The main character was funny and cool. The language was realatively easy to read and the settings described succesfully.
I've also just finished reading Gone. It was interesting and cool, but it hasn't, in my opinion, been written that well. I'm now half way through hunger. These books are designed awesomely! :
At the same time, I'm also reading, once again, Deathly Hallows (it's probably at least the 10th time!) It's my little obsesion :/ I absolutely love Harry Potter.
On another note, I'm writing 'The 9th Harry Potter Book' at the moment which is going well. Here's a little preview for anyone who cares :/ : But before you read it, just know that the final chapter in Deathly Hallows (the 19 years later) is the prieview in my book:
Chapter 1 Threat
As Harry Potter walked out of the lift and through the corridor on the 3rd floor of the Ministry of Magic, he looked out of the long window, stretching across most of the wall. He saw the light snow, causing the many bustling people to wrap up warm or put up their umbrellas, he saw the ginormous Christmas tree, reaching up to the sky, a gold star perched on top. But before he could open the heavy wooden door of his office, he felt a warm, heavy hand on his shoulder.
“Morning Harry,” The deep voice of Kingsley Shaklebolt rumbled. Harry swivelled round and replied
“Hey Kingsley, something up?” for there was a heavy frown burrowing on his forehead. Harry turned the bronze knob on his door and pushed it open, Kingsley in tow. “You should see for yourself,” Kingsley pointed to Harry’s mail tray as Harry sat down behind his desk. He reached over and picked up the letter on top. It was steaming at the edges. Harry slowly opened the envelope and read the letter made out of different clippings from the newspapers creating a message made from different size and shape letters. The letter said:
‘Just because the Dark Lord’s gone, doesn’t mean you’re safe’
Also, I'm writing a comedy movie which is very hard but fun. It's called Batman & Nigel and about the death of Robin.
You can tell me what you think of the prieview if you want :/
Byeeee :D xx
